It was easy to get to the wikipedia. Looks like a great resource for finding out obstruse information. I now know how the process of "corning" beef got its name. You may ask what that's got to do with teaching, but I am a chemistry teacher after all. I was also interested to read Gypsylibrarian's comments about the reliability of the data. In the entry about corned beef, it seemed that many of the references were circular.
The sandbox is interesting. Being able to edit/remove someone else's post and leave no trace is a new idea to me. It will take me some time to digest the implications of this.

Week 6 Thing 13
I gave up on Weeks 4 & 5 because my computer here at TAFE kept crashing. Week 6 so far seems better. I am impressed with Del.icio.us and have spent ages reading with great interest PC Magazine's 100 best. We've even bought one of the cameras. I have now visited several other websites and have noticed the RSS logo, which I'd completely ignored before, so I am learning from this course, though not as fast I I'd like. I did a Smart Board introduction last week and am now trying to relate how I could use some of the things we've been learning into using Smart board in class. Anyone have any suggestions?
